Stephenie Kaufmann, D.D.S.

Dr. Stephenie H. Kaufmann graduated from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs in 1989 and pursued her undergraduate career in at Colorado State University in Fort Collins Colorado. She was accepted into the University of Colorado School of Dentistry where she completed her Medical Science Bachelor of Science degree and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.

Immediately after graduating from University of Colorado School of Dentistry, Dr. Kaufmann joined the United States Navy to advance her education. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Okinawa, Japan and continued to serve a total of 5 years as a Dental Officer at home and abroad. She received several Navy Achievement Medals for her work in Naval dentistry. After her term in the Navy, Dr. Kaufmann was honored to serve in an underprivileged pediatric clinic, as a general dentist, in southern Texas for three years prior to coming home to Colorado. She and her family moved to Woodland Park in 2005 when she purchased a very well established private family practice.

Dr. Kaufmann is extremely committed to continuing education and holds the belief that it is an integral part of providing excellent care for her patients. She dedicates numerous volunteer hours by donating charitable dental care, serving on several Association committees. She serves as the Rio Grande Dental Society Delegate to the Colorado Dental Association and has served over 5 years as Delegate to the American Dental Association. Dr Kaufmann was nominated and selected for fellowship in the prestigious International College of Dentists in 2017.

In 2021, Dr Kaufmann was honored to be selected to serve as Colorado's Deputy Reagent for the International College of Dentists.

She has been proudly serving the Woodland Park community for over 17 years and, with a caring staff, is committed to providing great quality and gentle dentistry. “She and her staff make going to the dentist fun!”
Outside of the office, Dr. Kaufmann is a very proud mother of two children and enjoys golfing, skiing, kayaking, cooking and just being part of this great Woodland Park Community.

Gail – Registered Dental Hygienist

Originally from St. Joseph, IL, Gail received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene Ed at Eastern ILU and her A.A.S. of Dental Hygiene at Parkland Community College. She is married and has two grown sons. She has lived in Woodland Park since 1985 and has worked in the practice with the previous owner since 1990. She has been with Dr. Kaufmann since 2006. She enjoys hiking and reading.

 Tonya – Registered Dental Hygienist

Living with her husband and three sons in Woodland Park has always been her dream. She grew up here and graduated from WPHS. Tonya attended Pueblo Community College and received her A.A.S. in 2005. Prior to her dental hygiene program, she was a dental assistant. She has worked with Dr. Kaufmann since 2006.

She enjoys spending time with her busy family, scrap booking and the outdoors.
